Will Host “Women For Tillis” Virtual Event Friday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Tillis for Senate campaign today announced the leadership team of its “Women For Tillis” coalition. This group of 17 women from all across North Carolina will lead the effort to organize those who support Senator Tillis, as well as assist the campaign in spreading his pro-women record across the state from now until November.
This is the fourth coalition that the Tillis campaign has unveiled to date, and follows the release of the “Grassroots,” “Veterans for Tillis” and “Farmers for Tillis” leadership teams.
“I am honored to have the support of these influential women from across our great state,” said Senator Thom Tillis. “It’s imperative that we have all hands on deck so we can win in November, and all of their efforts will be critical to our success. I am proud of the work I’ve done in the Senate to increase wages and employment opportunities for women, and with the help of strong coalitions like ‘Women For Tillis,’ I know we will be able to expand upon these achievements and continue to serve North Carolinians well.”
“Thom has been a champion for women his entire life and it is comforting to have him representing North Carolina and our interests in Washington, DC. I’m thrilled to chair the ‘Women For Tillis’ coalition and am looking forward to when I can resume traveling across the state to work with the other members of our movement and ensure that Thom is re-elected,” said “Women for Tillis” chairwoman Susan Tillis.
